Choose Your Pamper Journey
We offer a wide selection of Pamper Journeys and one (1) hour Pamper Treatments. Kindly note that one (1) hour Pamper Treatments are not available on Saturdays and Sundays. MOWANA Spa is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Sunday evenings for private group bookings (minimum 30 people).
Browse our comprehensive spa menu, and decide which treatments or pamper journey you'd like to book for. If you are unsure about any of the treatments, or would like a little more information before making a decision, don't hesitate to give us a ring.
When you are ready to make your booking, we will ask you for the following information to ensure that your spa day experience is perfect: Names & Surnames of all the spa guests, Gown & Slipper Sizes and any dietary requirements that you or your group / party might have.
Pamper Journeys
All of our treatments are scheduled on a predetermined roster and we are unable to alter this on the day of your treatment as we have to accommodate all Spa Guests. If you have any preferences or special requests, please let us know in a minimum of 24-hours in advance and we will certainly do our best to accommodate you.

Let Us Know
Please inform your therapist if you are on any medication, have high blood pressure, any heart conditions, have had surgery recently, have muscle or joint injuries, sinusitis, any allergies (especially to iodine, sulphur or nuts), are pregnant, have epilepsy, are diabetic, have eczema or psoriasis, or have recently been sunburnt. Certain Treatments may need to be changed to best accommodate your condition.

Drink Up
Prep your body for your spa experience by making sure your drink plenty of water before and after your treatment. This will help your body rid itself of any toxins, enhancing the effectiveness of your treatment and minimising headaches and sore muscles.
Cell Phone Policy
As a courtesy to other Spa Guests we Thank You for acknowledging that treatment rooms are QUITE AREAS. Please keep your Mobile Phone on SILENT mode and speak SOFTLY during your treatments. We understand that emergencies do happen, so if you need to take a call, kindly move to the restaurant area. Unfortunately no calls may be taken in treatment areas as this disturbs other spa guests.
Pure Relaxation
Please feel free to speak out and tell your therapist if you are uncomfortable, cold or unhappy with the pressure of the treatment.
Home Care
We believe in our products, that's why we stock them. We give you the opportunity to purchase at-home pamper products from our Mowana Spa Retail Shop.
Show Your Appreciation
Gratuities are welcome. There is a 'Tip Box' located at the Reception Desk in our MOWANA Spa retail shop. Gratuities are shared between all General Assistants who contribute to making your spa day perfect. This includes the Barmen, Laundry Ladies, Kitchen Staff, Waiters and of course your therapists.
We Provide
We will provide you with your own locker to keep your valuables and clothes safe whilst you're at the spa. In your locker you'll find your own gown and slippers which must be worn during your spa treatments. After your treatment, you'll find showers equipped with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Towels are also provided. We also have hair dryers for your convenience. If you would like to style your hair or use flat irons, please bring your own — we have limited plug points available for them. Alternatively, why not make a booking with our on premises Hair Stylists Lynne or George on 011 840 6600 / 6730.
Show Your Appreciation
We recommend that you bring your swimming costume with you. If you have booked a Day Time Pamper Journey, you are more than welcome to make use of our Swimming Pool.
If you will not be making use of the Pool facilities, you are more than welcome to stay in your underwear for your treatments. Ladies, we suggest a top that can be removed easily and that is comfortable to put on after your Full Body Massage.
If you would prefer to wear disposable underwear, please ask your Therapist or mention it to our Reservations Department.
Bring Your Voucher
If you have booked your treatment with a gift voucher, bring it along with you, as you'll have to hand it in on arrival as 'payment'.

A Spa visit is a great experience for the mind, body & soul which will leave you feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Spoilt For Choice
There are so many treatments, how do you know which one to choose? It is all about personal preference and need. Some people really enjoy massages, whilst others would rather have a manicure or a special skin treatment. Our packages and pamper journeys give you the opportunity to try several treatments in one.
What To Bring
On arrival at the spa, you will be given a Gown and Slippers or Slops (seasonal). Mowana believes that you need to be comfortable during treatments so we recommend that you wear a bathing suit under your gown — this will also allow you the opportunity to make use of our Pool facilities.
Should you prefer, you can wear your underwear instead of a bathing suit. Alternatively disposable underwear will be provided.
If you are having a Pedicure at Beauty@Mowana we suggest that you bring open-toed shoes as nail varnish will take some time to dry.
Will I Have To Undress
Most of our guests wear bathing suites underneath their gowns, however it is perfectly acceptable to wear your underwear if you would prefer. If you are having a Mud Wrap treatment, we will provide you with disposable underwear. The therapists will usually leave the room to allow you some privacy when you remove your robe and lie down on the treatment bed. You will be covered with a towel during most treatments and only the part of your body being treated will be exposed.
Special Precautions
Yes, if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or are taking medication, please let your therapist know before the start of any treatment — we also provide Client Consultation Cards where such information needs to be noted.
How to make a Reservation

Once your booking has been made you will receive a Pro Form Invoice. Full payment is required to confirm your booking. Once we have received your proof of payment we will send you your confirmation with all the necessary information, confirmation number, etc.
Spa Etiquettes
- Please turn your mobile phone to silent whilst you are in the spa — we recommend that you turn it off as this will allow you to relax completely.
- Arrive at least 20 minutes before your Pamper Journey starts so that you have time to check in, change into your Gown and relax.
- Take a shower before your treatment. This will also help you relax and enhance your experience.
- You will be covered with a towel during most treatments and only the part of your body being treated will be exposed. You can keep your underwear on or remember to bring swim wear.
- For Beauty@Mowana Treatments, you can stay fully clothed and the Therapist will advise you if and what you need to remove. Suitable Gowns and Wraps are provided for these treatments.
- If you are uncomfortable with anything during your treatment — the pressure, the music or the temperature — please mention this to the therapist so that we can make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.
- The therapist will follow your lead during the treatment as to whether to engage in conversation with you or keep quiet.
- The therapist will usually end the treatment by saying that you can get dressed — this means that you can take a few minutes and should not be misinterpreted as an invitation to take a nap
- Share public space respectfully with other spa users and remember that a spa should be a place of peace and quiet.
- Gratuities are voluntary and are not included in the treatment prices. You may wish to leave a tip based on your experience.
- Kindly complete your Consultation Card and take to each treatment area so that the therapists can see if you have made any mention of special precautions or preferences.
- Please assist us in providing excellent service by giving honest feedback of your experience on the Client Consultation Cards provided at the start of your treatment. You will also receive an automated eGuestServ to your email address within 3 days of your treatment.
